Time has come to go back to school and guess what? I couldn't be happier of it! Missing my young students is something that haunted me during each and every $%/)=" day of summer!
Can't deny that as soon as we get into December, we are only hoping to finish the academical year, mainly because we are tired of being up for long hours, creating our lessons plans (particularly the daily ones YUCK) and many other random stuff. Yet, it doesn't mean we are willing to stop talking nonsenses, teaching through new methodologies, experimenting new jokes and sharing gracious time with our non-biological sons and daughters at schools.
Being a teacher has taught me that we need to cut straight to their hearts, hoping to fill up their lives with unending memories that will take with them for the years to come... We need to appreciate what they are willing to give us and what they are willing to quit... We need to feel their warm hugs and make their warm dreams come true... We need to let them fly and be there even in the darkest storm... and be willing to take a look at their eyes even when they might seem closed.
Honestly talking, I've been waiting for this week to come for a long time, as being a teacher is probably the only thing I am good at. I love to see them smiling and sharing with each other. Sometimes, it is good to go back in time thinking that you were in their shoes some couple of years ago, having tons of dreams to reach and hopes to scope.
I do really hope they could get to read this post, so they could understand how much they mean to me and how high my expectations are. Doesn't really matter the number of times in which I bother them or boast them out, my feelings remain the same, hoping they could understand that being with them my life has a total different meaning.
